Russian Roulette: A Deadly Love Affair

On the outside looking in, Maximus and Nova Holloway are what the community considers black excellence. They are a young, rich, Black couple who seem to have the world at their feet, but unbeknownst to the public, the beloved couple's marriage is in shambles.

Maximus has always had relationship problems, romantic and family. His marriage to Nova was only to keep the perfect image that his very prominent parents tried to portray. Maximus has been living with a secret that could rip his marriage, world, and career to pieces if it ever came to light. However, someone from Maximus' past is unwilling to remain a secret and allow him to keep living the façade. He isn't the only one with secrets, though.

Due to a lack of love and appreciation from her husband, Nova finds herself in the arms of another man, a man who is entirely too close to home. What was supposed to be a one night stand turns into a forbidden love affair with Adonis "Grim" Reaper. Grim wears many hats. He is a multimillionaire real estate mogul, but he is also what the streets call the plug. Now, with Grim and Nova's feelings growing deeper, Grim is no longer willing to be her second choice and gives her an ultimatum. Will Nova continue to honor her vows, or will she follow her heart and be with the man who never made her doubt his motives or love?

While Nova agonizes over which man to choose and Maximus tries his best to keep his secret hidden, there is someone lurking in the shadows, ready to kill anyone standing in the way of their love and true happiness.
